Complaints

For members and those using NFASP’s services

Our commitment to you: NFASP is committed to providing a high quality service to our members and all those using NFASP’s services. We are committed to continuously improving those services, but we realise that there are times when we don’t always succeed.

If you are unhappy about the service that we provide to you we want to hear about it; without your feedback we cannot improve.

How to make a complaint: If you are not happy about a service that you receive please let us know, either by telephone, letter or in person.

Mark the letter confidential and keep a copy of the letter.

Your complaint will be reviewed either by the Director or, in the event that the complaint is about the Director, the Chair of the Board. Your complaint will be acknowledged within five working days. The complaint will be reviewed and you should receive a response within 20 working days.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the complaint let us know. We undertake to arrange a meeting within ten working days with the interested parties including, if desired, the aggrieved party and/or their representative who may be a full time union official, solicitor, friend or colleague. The meeting should include a panel of three members of NFASP’s Board of trustees and may include the company's advisor on legal issues.

As soon possible after this meeting, the Director will write to you to confirm the panel’s decision.

Your voice: We value all feedback from those using our services and would also like to hear from you about what you think we do well and what you think we can improve on.
